What the job is
JCOs in the Education Corps teach and train soldiers, run unit education programmes and help prepare troops for promotion exams. It is a JCO-rank entry, between soldiers and commissioned officers, so it suits science and commerce graduates who want a teaching role inside the Army.
Other Army intake still open
The Army’s soldier (Sipahi) registration for the 2026 intake is open until 23 November, and is listed on our Govt Jobs board.
Beware of fake adverts
Army recruitment is free and done only through ASRCs and the official portal. Nobody can get you selected for money. Ignore WhatsApp messages, agents or websites that ask for a “processing fee” or promise guaranteed selection, and report them to your nearest ASRC.
