Baroque winter collection 2026: 8 viscose silk suits with shawls from Rs 6,950

Baroque's Viscose 26 suits come with a matching shawl, from Rs 6,950 unstitched or Rs 12,950 stitched. Eight we liked, from everyday prints to dawat-ready.

Baroque’s new winter range, Viscose 26, went live on its website on 30 October, and it solves the oldest problem of a Pakistani winter wardrobe: finding a shawl that actually matches the suit. Every design here comes with one. The base is digitally printed viscose silk for the shirt and trouser, five yards in the unstitched pack, plus a 2.75-yard printed viscose shawl, and some designs add an organza-bordered dupatta or a twill wool shawl.

Unstitched suits cost Rs 6,950 to Rs 9,950; Baroque’s stitched versions of the same designs cost Rs 12,950 to Rs 17,950. We went through the collection on Monday, 2 November, and these are the eight we would buy.

Everyday and office

UF-4579 (Rs 6,950) is the one in our main photo: rust, red and teal paisleys with a deep teal tasselled shawl. Viscose silk has a soft drape and a slight sheen, so it looks dressier than khaddar without being stiff. It is good for the office and for winter weddings in the family where you are not the main guest.

UF-4581 (Rs 6,950) is black with big orange, red and blue florals and an embroidered neckline patch and sleeve borders. Black prints hide wear and look smart; add small gold earrings and you are done.

UF-4609 (Rs 7,950) is red and black stripes with a red floral hem, and it comes with a dyed twill wool shawl, which is properly warm. Stripes make the frame look taller and slimmer.

Dawat and dinner

UF-4583 (Rs 8,950) is white with large red botanical prints and dark embroidered organza on the neckline, sleeves and panels, plus a dupatta with an embroidered organza border. It feels fresh in a season of dark colours and suits a daytime lunch.

UF-4585 (Rs 8,950) mixes mauve, pink and navy paisleys with an embroidered organza neckline patch and a navy shawl. Dusky pinks like this flatter most skin tones.

UF-4616 (Rs 8,950) is a mustard ground with red and green flowers, embroidered organza on the front and a plum shawl. Mustard is a strong winter colour; wear it with gold and a deep red lip.

UF-4624 (Rs 8,950) is emerald and black paisley with a velvet motif on the back of the shirt, an embroidered twill wool dupatta and a dyed twill wool shawl. This is the warmest and most formal of the eight.

UF-4606 (Rs 9,950) is the priciest unstitched design: black and peach paisley with embroidered organza on the neckline, sleeves and borders. It is the one we would pick for a December dinner.

Stitched or unstitched?

The stitched versions cost roughly double, so if you have a tailor you trust, the unstitched packs are the better value, and Rs 6,950 for a suit plus a full shawl is fair for this fabric. Viscose can shrink a little, so ask your tailor to pre-wash or allow some margin. Prices are as shown on Baroque’s website on 2 November 2026.
