Cross Stitch silk pret 2026: 7 ready-to-wear wedding outfits from Rs 14,950
No tailor needed: Cross Stitch's new silk and chiffon pret runs from Rs 14,950 to Rs 21,950. Seven three-piece looks for wedding season, and who each one suits.

If the wedding is next week and your tailor has stopped taking orders, ready-to-wear is the answer, and Cross Stitch has filled its Exclusive Pret and Luxury Pret sections with new silk three-pieces over the last week. All seven below come with shirt, trousers and dupatta, in sizes XS to L, at Rs 14,950 to Rs 21,950 (prices checked on the brand’s site on Tuesday, 3 November).
The common thread is restraint. Instead of heavy all-over work, these sets lean on print, placed embroidery and tassels, which suits mehndi lunches, dholkis and the many smaller dinners of the season.
Under Rs 18,000
Dove Gray (Rs 14,950). A loose short shirt in silk with printed embroidery on the front, a button placket at the neck, box pants and an embroidered organza dupatta. Grey-blue is underrated at weddings; with silver jhumkas it looks quietly expensive.
Coral Dream (Rs 15,950). A long, loose silk shirt with a band collar and flared sleeves with embroidered borders, worn with box pants and a printed chiffon dupatta. The long length is flattering if you prefer more coverage.
Emerald Opulence (Rs 16,950). Our pick of the drop. A paneled raw silk shirt with an embroidered keyhole neckline and flared sleeves, over a baggy embroidered shalwar, with a printed silk dupatta finished in tassels. Deep green is the colour of this winter, and the baggy shalwar gives it a relaxed, modern line.
Lily Mist (Rs 17,950). A raw silk kaftan with box sleeves and embroidered borders, plain dyed box pants and an embroidered chiffon dupatta. Kaftans are forgiving and comfortable for long functions where you will be sitting on the floor for the dholki.
Whimsy Ornate (Rs 17,950). A loose short shirt in yellow raw silk with tasselled neckline and flared sleeves, over a tapered shalwar. The one to wear to a mayun.
The dressier two
Vivid Maze (Rs 18,950). A pink printed silk shirt with embroidered hem, side slits and tasselled sleeves, worn with straight silk pants and a chiffon dupatta. Bright without being heavy.
Mystic Blue (Rs 21,950). The most formal piece: a straight chiffon shirt with hand-embellished neckline and sleeves, silk box pants and a velvet dupatta with embroidery. The velvet dupatta makes it right for December evenings and a walima.
How to style them
The necklines here are busy, so skip necklaces and put the attention on earrings. Gold kolhapuris or khussas suit the yellow, coral and green; pick a slim heel with Mystic Blue. Over a cold evening, a plain shawl in a darker shade of the dupatta keeps the look neat.
At this price you are paying for stitching and finish as well as fabric, so compare it with an unstitched suit plus tailoring before deciding. Two sets in the same drop, Brownie and Deep Walnut, had already sold out when we checked.
